Famous
Postcard Artists
Many postcard illustrators labored in anonymity, turning out thousands
of drawings
while under contract to the publishers. Other artists,
however, rose
to some significant recognition due to the unique qualities in their
work or an excellent press agent. "Artist-signed" postcards
are overwhelmingly the most popular cards among collectors.
