Let Me Call You Sweetheart
Kathe B: The materials I used were:
Images from 2 of the Valentines from VIC Facebook
Gold 2” Mesh Ribbon
Red Paper Doily
Heart shaped fabric doily-bought already stiffened
“Let Me Call You Sweetheart” sheet music clip art sheet
Vintage Red ribbon with lace
Post marked images clip art sheet
Gold glitter-fine
Foam Board
Glue
Straight edge razor blade
Hand cut around the roses as shown with razor blade. Glue the smaller rose to a short piece of the red ribbon. Cut man/woman image to fit heart shape of doily and glue to doily so it shows through from the back. Cut sheet music wording to fit on the ribbons as shown and glue to ribbon.
Cut foam board to 5” x 7” and glue a 5” long piece of gold ribbon at the top. Glue the red paper doily to the board. Cut the post marked images to 5” long by 1 1/2” high and glue to board at bottom. Cut a piece of the gold ribbon to 5” long by 1 1/2” high and glue over the post marked images. Glue the larger roses to the upper right corner. Glue the heart shaped doily with man/woman images to the board overlapping the rose images slightly. Glue the red ribbons with wording and small rose to the board and overlap images as shown. Dust entire piece with fine gold glitter.
Fold a piece of the gold ribbon in half and glue to the back of the board for hanging.
Very easy & fun to make!
