Miss Patriotic Crown

I used wallpaper glued to chipboard as the base for the crown. I used Jenni Bowlin crepe paper and bingo FLAG card for embellishments. I chose one of the free patriotic downloads from VintageImageCraft for the front of my crown and embellished it with dyed silk ribbons from Jabberwocky (Fredericksburg, Texas), punched out stars, buttons, sequins, self adhesive pearls and rhinestones, and a toothpick flag, along with a red and blue toothpick topper. Silver tinsel lines the bottom of the crown.
The back of the crown has 3 holes punched on each side. Three different reds, blues, and red, white, and blue silk dyed ribbons from Jabberwocky are used to tie the perfect bows to adjust for sizing.
It's a Grand Ol' Flag! My niece's birthday is on July 4. She deserves a crown.
