Nature's Way of Celebrating
This birdhouse is a project in which I tried to maintain the integrity of a natural piece. Images were collaged over wood, then gesso was applied. It includes dried roots, moss grass, and authentic branches from a bird’s nest. Graphics from Vintage Image Craft, as well as commercial papers, ephemera, and embellishments were utilized to create this piece that gives a “bird’s eye view” of Independence Day.
