Firecracker rosette ornament

Firecracker rosette ornament

I made a pleated rosette ornament for my 4th of July tree. The rosette is a 5" diameter pleated circle edged with silver glass glitter. Then I placed a scallop circle cut from silver glitter paper. The image was cut from a VIC image set I bought here and the "4" on the firecracker is filled in with stickles. 'Cause you can never have enough glitter! I replaced the fuse string with jute. On the back side are two layered chipboard stars to cover the back of the rosette center.

Very clever project. The rosette reminds me of 4th of July buntings on a Victorian Porch

How cute! What a great idea using jute for the fuse, and all the glitter too. I love glitter! Can't wait to see more of your work, Berta!
