The front of my box
One photo just will NOT do my new favorite project justice! This entire project was inspired by the adorable image that Vintage Image Craft gave as a FREEBIE over on the Facebook page. I thought the image would be perfect for a Teacher's Appreciation gift so I paired it with the fun patterned paper and started out creating a pencil holder. As I was creating the rose from a scrap of pillow case that I had dyed in coffee & food coloring, My Antiques from the Sicilian Market caught my eye!!!! I was thrilled to have found such a clever way to incorporate them into such a useful project. BTW, this became a gift to myself!! It is the perfect pot to store my hand painted papers from Florence.
