Valentine Blues

Valentine Blues

Donna Harcourt: I used a VIC Facebook image, made a flower of velum and stained it blue with distress inks, crushed it in my hand, cut a hole in the middle added a heart shaped brad, recrushed it then opened it to fluff. I gave color to the image by using cream chalks of gold, pink, and blue. Added a vintage ribbon to the side and a blue ribbon on the top. I then used distress inks around the edges to give it some pop and lastly stamped with Stazon ink "Happy Valentines Day". I can hang this in any room This image was glued on a small wooden plaque.
