Victorian Christmas Cat, Book Card
by Sandie Louise Edwards
(Geraldton, W.A, Australia)
The two pictures I used in my project were both free images from "Vintage Image Craft" on Facebook. Firstly, a little girl feeding a kitten which I used on the front cover of my project and an adorable image of two cats curled up together, which I used on the shadow box area of my card.
Techniques: creating the book card itself - I made a tutorial for others which will go onto my blog. Also, fussy cutting fine details of images, inking edges of paper, colouring with distress inks (large cats bow, I changed the colour from green to a red), creating 3-dimensional appearance, and inking/colouring white/cream laces.
